I’ll definitely try the recipe. I like the idea of a rough mash, so that the texture and flavor of each is still somewhat distinct. And the bay oil is an intriguing touch (did you use Californian or Turkish bay? I think the latter is more intense.)

I’ll have to modify it for my toddler’s dairy allergy, but I have found that unsweetened almond milk complements root vegetables nicely.
