I’m really sorry that Thanksgiving didn’t go as planned but everyone has a new experience to draw from for future Thanksgiving feasts. And as a bonus (for us), you *still* share the great recipes around your adventure of a meal. My takeaways from this cautious yet heartening tale are:

1. Lox and bagels are best enjoyed on land

2. My utter lack of hesitation to pay a small premium for pre-cooked snow crab when wiggling ones are available is entirely justifiable

3. Don’t pinch your finger

By the way, I am willing to put folding money where my mouth is that when they’re a little older, the girls will eat crab, though they’ll probably tell me Sushi Ran is their favorite because it gives Mommy a break and can we go…
