Crispy yet soft inside… He’s used to cook them of the barbecue instead of deep-frying them.
Anyway i wanted to say i love your blog. It’s so inspiring. I’d love to study at Le Cordon Bleu, but don’t have neither the time nor the money. It’s so busy being an ingineer student in the food industry.
PS if you can read french i wrote something about your ‘pommes d’amour’ on my other-non-food-related blog: http://ribbonbutterfly.canalblog.com/archives/2006/05/22/1931765.html

I love artichokes this way–and that slice of fried lemon is such a fantastic garnish to artichoke, I love it! (just had an ultra-thin, cripsy deep fried slice of lemon for the first time recently and I’m not over how good it was!)

As I am sure you could tell as I chomped all of yours down. “Can I have these?”…”Ummm, I guess so”, too late, already gone! So good. I know what I am going to be doing this week, eating some aphrodisiacs, that’s what!
Much love cooking partner, good luck tomorrow!

I had a date last weekend. We went to Picaro on 16th. We shared artichokes as an appetizer, and at the end of the night? Nada.
