Ah, finally a moment after all the Christmas craziness to sit down. Happy holidays friends and family! Hope you had a good one spending time with loved ones, no matter where you are or what you celebrate!<\/p>\n
After 16 years of writing about food, you’d think I could at least get some recipes out before the actual\u00a0event, but no, I just get too busy! I did do things different this Christmas and I want to share my revelation even though it’s after the fact.<\/p>\n
I finally created a\u00a0feast I could make the day before the event so I could spend more time with family and friends instead of running around like a headless chicken cooking everything \u00e0 la minute<\/em>. This\u00a0year I just pulled\u00a0platters\u00a0out of my fridge, plopped them on\u00a0the buffet table and reheated the foods that needed to be hot. It was wonderful! Glorious in fact! Long live the buffet table!\u00a0<\/p>\n
