Chambolle-Musigny AOC, Recolte 2002, Patriarche Pere et Fils One of the most flirtatious light reds that I’ve ever had. Open hearted and humorous with a soft seductive finish. Great legs, bright approach, round lingering overtones. Make this your next first date and I promise you won’t be disappointed. At first whiff, this wine hints at a freshly baked cherry pie picnic and the promise of a wild blackberry scavenger hunt. (I know, I know….but it’s true!)

Food Pairings: This wine should not be confused with a fruity Beaujolais, spicy Spanish Rioja or an Italian Sangiovese. Chambolle-Musigny is a very sophisticated young lady with a BA from Harvard and bright outlook on life. It’s ready to drink now or keep for another 5-7 years or longer!

Technorati Tags: french wine, wine
