When I want to make something I’ve never made before I always look there first. There are recipes in that book for almost any food I can think of and then they give alternate versions and fully explain how and why recipes work the way they do and what to do if you desire a different result. What could be better or more comprehensive? It’s no wonder that book is in something like it’s 485th edition.
